Fox glacier camp

Fox glacier camp reflection 2016

On the way to camp we went swimming at Lake Mapourika . Kristian thought there were eels so I picked up a slimy stick to tell Kristian there are no eels but it turned out it was a sheep skull. I went looking for the sheep skull to show Jacob, Miss Hines told me to throw it back into the water. When we left Jacob left his wet suit behind at the lake and we couldn't find it.

When we got to Franz we went to the wildlife center and we looked at the kiwi. When someone looked at it the kiwi did a poo.One of the coolest things they had there was a fake glacier that you could walk on but my favorite thing was seeing the kiwi.

When we finally got to camp me and Regan climbed a massive tree we almost made it to the top but we ended up playing kicks with Alex Double, Jakob and Brendan.the next day when we were playing kicks Brendan almost got the ball stuck in the tree when he kicked it.

That evening we went to the pool and Brendan threw us back wards . Reilly, Regan, Nikalia and me were doing back flips. Laken tried doing a back flip but he failed and landed on his stomach.when we were about to get out we played a game of virus.

On the way back to school we  went to the tree top walk I went to the highest point and everyone felt sea sick. A whole bunch of people went onto a really shaky bit and I hit my head a couple of times.on the way back people threw their paper of the walk.

Week 9 Reflection

Literacy

For literacy this week  we had to make a poster to tell people to keep our creeks pollution free.

Numeracy

For Numeracy we were learning decimals. It was hard and interesting but in the end it was quite easy.

This week we had to make a screen cast of the coming storm.
